Project Description

Introduction
August 2019 Hawthorn Estates carried out shop refit works in Ripon, North Yorkshire.

Customer
The work that had been requested was to rip out old fixtures and provide a blank canvas for the new tenants.

This would include painting walls, doors and windows giving that fresh feeling.

The old flooring needed to be strengthened, our joiners put down plyboard to level out the main unit space, but firstly they removed any unnecessary cabling from the floor space-filling them correctly so that no weak point or bowing would occur. New carpets are installed to provide the new tenants with durable flooring.

Electricity checks are done so that the building is ready for its new tenant to move straight in.

Health and Safety

All equipment that was used on the job was all up to regulations, as well as all the necessary PPE to make the job safe and easier.

Correct licences for the operatives on-site and have been given the correct training before any works.

Safety of staff and Tenants are always our priority, all safety precautions were put into place.

Tenants

The clients were happy with the organisation and work ethic they witnessed throughout the project, they are extremely happy with the result.
